John and his team delivered survival training to our entire Year 10 on the island of Ameland, which is situated off the North coast of the Netherlands. One hundred forty students attended the week.
Through a range of outdoor activities the students learned new skills; faced personal challenges to enhance their confidence and worked closely in teams. Throughout, the Elite Survival Instructors inspired total confidence in staff regarding both safety and their interactions with the young people. Their experience of school groups and their expertise in their fields were strongly in evidence.
By the end of the activities we noticed that many students were mixing more freely and expressing the value of what they had learned. A lot of positive feedback has been received from staff, students and parents. We are grateful for the professionalism of The Elite team and have re-booked them for next year.
